I can't even hear the instruments :'(

When I listen to music, any music, I try and focus on... well the music. Riffs, fills, time signatures, solos, the general equation and set up. I try and find stuff that i like, remember it, play it, and maybe see if I can modify or add to something I make myself.

As for the first vid, like most music in the last 20 years or so, has been primary shifted toward ones eyes over their ears. Is \m/ 666 METAL \m/ going the same route? Hope not. I like listening to songs and saying, "fuck yeah that riff was chingon! Can't wait to get home and try to play it.... but faster " :]

Best to ignore the genres they give to music these days, they dont mean much anymore. My iPod used to list all sorts as metal leading to the strangeness of clicking the metal folder and finding green day next to metallica in there...

Oh god I can't stop laughing. A sequencer, a base player, a dude with a bad ass drum kit and THREE vocalists makes you a fucking metal band.

God damn Nü-metal. To be honest though, there are so many sub-genres of metal that it is hard to keep track of. I just stay as far away from Nü-metal as I can. There are a few bands that I have a guilty pleasure of but I'm sorry I can't jive with either of these two that you have shown here. But thanks for the laughs.

I used to listen to this band all the damn time. I have grown out of my Power metal phase but I still like Stratovarius. It never fails to make me happy.
